{"id":4556,"date":"2020-07-16T08:17:23","date_gmt":"2020-07-16T06:17:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fotoglass.es\/?p=4556"},"modified":"2020-07-16T08:20:21","modified_gmt":"2020-07-16T06:20:21","slug":"fotoglass-premiada-como-empresa-de-base-tecnologica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fotoglass.es\/en\/fotoglass-premiada-como-empresa-de-base-tecnologica\/","title":{"rendered":"Fotoglass awarded as a Technology-Based Company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\"The competition awarded prizes totalling 90,000 euros among five business initiatives during the <strong>Technology-Based Business Day<\/strong>organised by the SODERCAN Group and attended by around 140 entrepreneurs and business people from all over Cantabria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fotoglass, with its project for photoluminescent tiles obtained by airbrushing on a sintered vitreous support with applications in safety signage, has won <strong>third prize in this edition.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winning projects range from advanced systems and products for greenhouses to the manufacture of photoluminescent tiles, including ICT products for so-called \"data mining\" aimed at sectors that generate large amounts of raw data with their daily activity or traceability systems using \"smart tags\" (RFID).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference, organised by SODERCAN, was attended by three prominent speakers who spoke about their <strong>experiences at the National Institute <\/strong><strong>of Aerospace Technology<\/strong><strong> (INTA) and in the so-called Silicon Valley (<\/strong><strong>Sillicon<\/strong><strong> Valley) in California.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CEO of SODERCAN reiterated the group's commitment to the creation and development of this type of company, which, in proportion to the resources invested, \"create more employment and wealth, are rooted in the territory in a more precise way\" and \"facilitate the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge between University and company in the broadest sense\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 160 business ideas have been submitted to the five editions of this competition, of which around thirty have been awarded prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"237\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/fotoglass.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/concurso2.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4560\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/fotoglass.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/concurso2.png\" data-link=\"https:\/\/fotoglass.es\/fotoglass-premiada-como-empresa-de-base-tecnologica\/concurso2\/\" class=\"wp-image-4560\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"253\" height=\"120\" src=\"https:\/\/fotoglass.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/concurso.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4559\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/fotoglass.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/concurso.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/fotoglass.es\/fotoglass-premiada-como-empresa-de-base-tecnologica\/concurso\/\" class=\"wp-image-4559\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El concurso ha repartido premios por un total de 90.000 euros entre cinco iniciativas empresariales durante la Jornada de Empresas de Base Tecnol\u00f3gica, organizada por el Grupo SODERCAN y a la que han asistido cerca de 140 emprendedores y empresarios de toda Cantabria.
